Celestial nymph

The silken sylphs of Paracelsus
harken from on high,
in streams of Heaven’s craftsmanship
adrift in sunlit skies.

In elemental concordance
they move throughout the air,
hermetic echoes from the past
O’ how I love to stare.

A graceful bliss worth pondering,
behold them passing by,
perhaps a wave in wonderment
will greet your thankful eye.

As salamanders greet the fire
and nymphs swim oceans wide,
and gnomes traverse the earthen soil
the sylphs just seem to glide….

Desert illusion

Another fascinating optical illusion in this photograph. A whirlwind prepares to touch down in the desert……..or does it?

Winter white

Snowdrift like clouds gather in a glacial platform for hours of imaginary winter fun……now go find your mittens.

Celestial traveller’s

We three Kings of Orient are;
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.

John Henry Hopkins Jr (1857).
